I've got some new features to share today: post previews and post notifications.

Preview your posts before they're scheduled

Toucan Post can preview your next post on-demand. Here you can see Toucan Post rejecting a post because X doesn't support image posts yet.

You can find the preview tool by navigating to one of your schedules via "Preview & History" and then clicking "Load Preview".

By the way, image support is coming soon. Toucan Post only supports text posts right now.

Get notified when a post succeeds or fails

Toucan Post can send you an email when a post succeeds or fails. Here's what a post-failed email looks like:

Hi, this is an automated notification from Toucan Post.

A scheduled post failed at Monday, November 17, 2025 at 3:39 pm (PST). Here's what happened:

• Trello card: [link to trello card]
• Trello messages: Validations failed! Check reasons below.
• Twitter messages: Problems: Images not supported yet.

By default, Toucan Post will email you whenever a post succeeds or fails. You can change these settings on your preferences page.
